| 1.SEVERAL TYPES of memory cards exist for different brands and types of digital camera - make sure you pick the right one for your camera - Secure Digital (majority of brands), Compact Flash (some Canon), Memory Stick (Sony), XD (some Fuji and Olympus), Mini SD or Micro SD (mobile phones) | 2.CAPACITY Memory cards come in different sizes, up to 16GB at the moment. Consider purchasing a big size memory card - 2GB or more - if you have a high resolution camera and take lots of pictures before downloading to a PC. Don't let your memory card stop you taking photos! | 3.SPEED The faster the read and write speed of a card, the faster you will be able to store data on the card, view photos on your camera and copy photos back to your computer. Especially useful for high resolution cameras. Look out for 'Ultra' and 'Extreme' versions of memory cards |
